Welcome to Fredericksburg Custom Homes Ltd. Both owned and managed by
Christopher M. Kohlhaas. I have a degree from LSU in construction management
and have been in the building industry over 25 years. I started my company in
1994 and have won two awards including the 1994 Finest for Family Living and
1998 Parade of Homes for best in show. Both awards reflect the art of design,
unique personal details and high quality of construction that I provide my
clients.
You will experience a different building process than with other builders by
being involved with me, the company owner, through all phases of construction
including design, specifications, budgeting and quality control. Having one
person guide you through the process ensures you of clear communication, as
well as having only one person accountable. In turn, this form of customer
service will deliver the house you desire and a home you will be proud to own.
I have a passion for building houses and enjoy adding items that give homes a
personal touch that are not found in most homes today. From a strong romantic
colonial on the water to a west coast style in the trees, Fredericksburg Custom
